In Zeba’s (Sanam Saeed) struggles and sadness, Jamal-Jami (Hassaan Khan) has come as a breath of fresh air. As Zeba prepares to marry off her daughter, she encounters Jami in a brief moment, reviving the feelings they had buried in the past. With both moving forward in life, Zeba with her children, the two meeting again was only fate bringing them close.
The butterflies in the stomach, awkward silence, and blushing cheeks; Zeba finds herself becoming the teenager in love again. Her irritation over her oiled hair and the lack of condiments made her relive falling for Jami all over again. Jami not sipping the tea, stating that if he does, time will run out, and he will have to leave, adds to the moment as if time had stopped.
As minute as the moment might be, it has rekindled hope and love in the two, while Zeba confines herself to duties and responsibilities. The fear that she will be judged by her children makes her instantly back out of the possibility of being with the ‘original’ Jami. While a thought seeds in Subok’s (Ashir Wajahat) mind, Zeba holds back as she prepares for Javeria’s (Nooray Zeeshan) wedding. Jami, on the other hand, is set to send a proposal to Zeba as soon as her divorce is processed.
On the other hand, Jamshed-Jami (Emmad Irfani) makes a final attempt to blackmail Zeba through Javeria, promising to attend her wedding if Zeba takes back the divorce notice. What seems like a ray of hope for Zeba and her prosperous future seems far-fetched, as Zeba will always choose her children’s happiness over anything.
While it seems highly unlikely, Kafeel fans’ only hope for happiness is in Zeba’s never-ending plight. Stating that their rekindling gives off teenage romance vibes, a user posted on X and said:
