
Amar Khan appeared in Nida Yasir’s Shan-e-Suhoor with her mother, Fareeha Jabeen, opening up about her family dynamics. Talking about her mother’s decision to raise her singlehandedly, Amar stated that her mother chose not to move abroad with her father because of his second marriage. He had married in America; however, the two remained cordial toward each other for their daughter. Amar further added that it is likely that two partners, regardless of whether it is a love marriage, do not get along. With no bad blood between them, she stated that her mother, Fareeha, wanted to raise her independently, for which she worked hard.
Fareeha added that she never badmouthed her ex-husband because she understood that the circumstances were not in their favour. She added that she raised Amar very well without any hiccups, and she continued to maintain a happy relationship with her father. Amar visited her father in America often and stayed there during her degree in filmmaking. She also added that she wanted to care for her mother after her father’s death; hence, she chose to remain in Pakistan and raise her daughter on her own. She also added that while she worked, Amar remained under her grandmother’s care, crediting her grandmother for Amar’s upbringing.

Amar Khan is an established actor, director and writer, prominently known for her acting hits like Belapur ki Dayan and Ghughi. Amar Khan also wrote many scripts, including Heer Da Hero, Dard-e-Dil, Azad Massi and Black Wednesday. She appeared in her debut film in 2022 called Dum Mastam, which she also had penned down.

Fareeha Jabeen is a prominent actor from the 90s, with Neelay Hath, Andhera Ujala, and Rangrez among her early works. She established herself in the Pakistani drama industry and can still be seen in mother/grandmother roles. Her latest works included Hadsa and Baby Baji, with the characters Suno Chanda and O Rangreza as her recent hits.
