Alkaram recently launched its Fall/Winter’2020 Unstitched Collection to complement the season’s tales.
Adventures, stories, fun, and excitement perfectly coupled with warm winter wear makes the #WrappedbyAlkaram campaign an elegant winter feat.
The campaign began with a DVC that took the audience through a series of vibrant, uniquely designed dresses with Iqra Aziz as the face of the brand for the year. Curated for the Pakistani woman who revels in her individuality, the collection has blends of sophisticated colors, elegant prints, and unique cuts to make the right winter statement. Followed by the showcase was an experience of true “Winter Wandering” with some key influencers from Karachi and Lahore making the audience crave an adventurous winter affair with a trip Up-North.
Already in the news with the recent De La Rose campaign and last year’s winter wandering, the brand has been stirring conversations around creating memorable experiences and innovating itself. The DVC with Iqra Aziz in the majestic garbs of Alkaram which meticulously incorporate the winter feels in the colors and threads of their intrinsic embroidery launched the campaign. Capturing the essence and warmth of winter fabrics and patterns, the DVC gave an elaborate sneak peek into the wide collection which includes a variety of 140 unique pieces.
The campaign was further elevated with an ideal “Wrapped by Alkaram” winter wandering which took us through a journey Up-North with key influencers from Karachi and Lahore. This group included representatives from top-notch publications from – Something Haute, and Hello and influential bloggers namely, Anya Fawad, Nimra Khalid, Areej Fatima, Rida Mirza, Bazla Tauqeer, Sobia Saleem, and Tashfeen Arshad. These girls became the Alkaram women who made a style statement while enjoying the mountainous and green landscapes.
Beginning from the 20th of October, #WrappedbyAlkaram was a trip to Nathia Gali for 3 days and 2 nights. With exotic views and picturesque spots, the women wore the cozy fabrics from Alkaram winter collection and had an exciting tour through the local Bazaars, Samandar Katha, and Saji Kot Waterfall. The girls enjoyed the street food, steaming coffee, and perfect winter nights creating lasting memories.
The beautiful landmarks made the perfect backdrop for Alkaram’s vibrant fabrics.
Attiya Abbas, representative of Hello commented, “I’m delighted to have been a part of the Nathiagali trip. It was my very first time experiencing Fall in Pakistan and I never imagined doing so in Shalwar Kameez and not feeling cold! I was comfortable and cozy throughout the trip. It was unforgettable and not only did I create strong bonds traveling with other like-minded women but also created incredible winter memories to look back upon.”
With this, the #WrappedbyAlkaram campaign came to an exciting end with a one minute long digital video featuring the highlights of the trip and the influencers showing off their distinctive attire. Keeping the viewers hooked, Alkaram made a lasting impression with customers who’re more than likely to hit the stores to view the entirety of the collection themselves.
