Drama serial Alif based on Umera Ahmed’s novel with the same name released it’s first teaser yesterday and the internet is ablaze! The lead pair is played by Hamza Ali Abbasi and Sajal Aly but features other prominent actors like Osman Khalid Butt, Kubra Khan and Ahsan Khan as well.
From people who have read the novel, it appears that the show is going to touch upon some spiritual themes which will make you question yourself, the world around you and how to reason with it. All the characters are somehow tied to ‘Alif’ as well in their own mysterious ways.
This excerpt from the novel provides us a glimpse of all what is going to enlighten our screens in the recent future. Enchanting…truly!
