Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Kartarpur Corridor today which allows thousands of Sikh pilgrims to visit the sacred Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara where Guru Nanak Dev spent the last 18 years of his life.

Many prominent members from India also made an appearance at the event including former Indian President Manmohan Singh, cricketer and now politician Navjot Singh Sidhu and actor Sunny Deol. While addressing the attendees at the inauguration, Navjot Singh Sidhu remarked “Prime Minister Imran Khan has made history by opening historical Kartarpur Corridor and fulfilled the long cherished dream of four generations of Sikh community, who were anxiously waiting to visit their holy place.”
