The fast paced Dar-e-Nijaat has taken a dip as Zamil (Nameer Khan) walks back to his home in Pakistan with his wife who fits his criteria. Claiming to be a revert Muslim he has found himself a woman that is practicing and obedient. While he gets kicked out of his house, he has left Zaryab (Dur-e-Fishan Saleem) hanging in the United States after vacating his room and finding another place closer to his university. The young girl that had dedicated her life to him had been abandoned without closure, traumatized searching for answers.

Zaryab flies back to Pakistan in hope of rekindling her relationship with her long-term boyfriend. She had not imagined a life without him and feels exploited and humiliated. As she blames his friend for his new found religion, she questions that she was not good enough for him after all the years. Her loyalty and devotion to Zamil was forgotten in a moment when he signed up for a new life without Zaryab. What he finds to be a devotion to his religion is rather a misunderstanding of faith as he leaves Zaryab helpless, without closure.

Where netizens have connected to Zaryab’s pain, they have yet again slammed Zamil for his toxic controlling nature and abandonment of a relationship without closure. His lack of empathy and considering himself superior to Zaryab has taken the viewers aback. Shattered over Zaryab’s turmoil, a user took to X and posted:
