As the horrors of the Khan haveli come crashing on Sarbuland (Danyal Zafar), Zanjeerain has taken a drastic turn, with Sherbano’s (Sehar Hashmi) grave exhumed. Finding his fiancée dead to protect his leadership has left Sarbuland devastated, and he breaks down before his wife, Rabbiya (Sajal Aly), in a heart-wrenching sequence. The little hope he had for Sherbano’s return is now gone as he grieves the loss of a brother, sister-in-law, and fiancée. While he loses himself to tears, he finds Rabbiya by his side to console him and give him strength to avenge the death of his loved ones.
The young man who never imagined himself becoming the sardar (tribal leader) is now set to avenge the death of his family members at the hands of another brother. The hunger and greed for power have brought the family to a crossroads where Sohrab (Raza Ali Abid) will face death at the hands of Sarbuland for the murder of Sherdil (Ahsan Khan), Mahgul (Momal Sheik), and Sherbano. With the power his wife has embedded in him, Sarbuland is on the path to truth and justice, with Shireen becoming the witness to all the crimes. With Bibi Jaan (Sammiya Mumtaz) losing her children to envy and hatred, Rabbiya has come forward as the ultimate caregiver for the family; she gives them a shoulder to cry on.
Rabbiya has become the star protector of the drama serial, as she can be seen alongside Sarbuland and Bibi Jaan, who cry over the loss of their loved ones and the shattering of their relationships. The highlight of episode 34 has been the way she has consoled Sarbuland as he collapses after finding Sherbano’s body. While Rabbiya and Sarbuland’s relationship was highlighted in the episode, Shireen (Anayah Shahid) also received praise for being a witness to and accomplice in Sohrab’s crimes. She not only opened up about how she poisoned Sherdil and Sarbuland, but also became a witness to Sherbano’s murder and planned an assassination attempt on Sarbuland with Zamurd (Hassan Shah). She confesses to the crimes and accepts the death sentence announced for her, Sohrab, and other accomplices.
