1. The Golden Arches found a new stage.
At IMA 2026, held at Expo Centre Lahore, McDonald’s Pakistan moved from serving meals to serving looks. In a first-of-its-kind collaboration with the School of Art & Design, Superior University, the brand invited young designers to transform its globally recognizable identity into original fashion expressions, bringing together branding, culture and creativity on one runway.
2. One brand was seen through six creative lenses.
McDonald’s familiar colours, icons, packaging and visual energy were reinterpreted across six distinct design perspectives. Instead of simply placing brand elements onto garments, the students explored what McDonald’s represents: youthfulness, nostalgia, playfulness and pop-culture relevance. The result was a collection that felt experimental and fashion-forward while remaining unmistakably McDonald’s.
3. The runway became a bridge between education and industry.
Beyond its visual appeal, the collaboration gave students the opportunity to work with a real brand identity, respond to a professional creative challenge and showcase their talent before an industry audience. By investing in emerging designers, McDonald’s Pakistan demonstrated a wider vision—one that supports young creativity and turns academic potential into visible professional opportunity.
