With Doctor Bahu coming to an end, the audience is caught in a whirlwind of emotions as Salman (Shuja Asad) and Sanniya (Kubra Khan) find their happily ever after. The couple shares a wholesome conversation at the place where it all started: by the beachside, hand in hand, making confessions, communicating and moving on. Salman had distanced himself from his wife and child as he held himself accountable for putting her in a near-death situation. At the same time, Sanniya expected reconciliation, as his role as a father was important. In conclusion, they both realised they had failed each other and now want to live together.
Doctor Bahu stuck to the core of Salman and Sanniya as they managed to walk through the most difficult time of their life with their ability to communicate. They managed to put their grievances aside for the sake of their child after Salman fully realised how he damaged his marriage. On top of it, he exposed his father, Dr Shahnawaz (Shehzad Nawaz), for corruption as he fled the country. He fought Dr Saad’s case and made sure life returned to normal for his in-laws.

Shuja and Kubra’s fiery chemistry as the lead couple made Doctor Bahu one of the most-watched drama serials on Pakistani television. As the drama serial exits the screens, Salman and Sanniya’s effortless romance and powerful screen presence wooed the audience. They appreciated how the two were able to communicate with each other and came out stronger after a big blow. Stating that Salman-Sanniya’s dynamic proved that communication can fix anything, a user took to X and posted:
1 of the finest and most complex relationship darama finally came 2 an end. So many emotional highs & lows—proving that sometimes, a simple conversation is all that’s needed ❤️
Shnawaz’s redemption should have been shown, & Mina deserved the happy ending we never got to c #DrBahu pic.twitter.com/5jq2D9Kc5D— Eram (@eramzah9) July 31, 2026

One of my favorite dramas in recent times. Not everyones cup of tea but the flawed human characters really appealed to me.There were some unrealistic things at times but I loved the theme of how control and narcissim affects household dynamics!!! Good Job #Drbahu team
