In horrifying events, an 18-year-old domestic helper has tragically passed away after being placed on life support following a failed abortion attempt, according to ARY News. The abortion resulted from a gang rape in Lahore’s upscale Model Town area. A video statement of the victim before passing away has surfaced, making serious allegations against the employer’s son and driver.
Before passing away, the victim recorded a written and video statement, which police have called the primary evidence. According to the video, the victim alleges that the employer’s son and the driver had been continuously sexually assaulting her for the past five months, which resulted in a pregnancy in November, 2025. The suspects took the girl to a private clinic in Raiwind for an abortion, where her condition deteriorated due to untrained staff. She was then rushed to Lahore’s Services Hospital in critical condition, where the hospital administration immediately alerted the police. Upon arrival, the police registered a gang rape case based on the victim’s video and written statements. The case then turned into a murder when the young girl passed away after fighting for her life on life support for two days.
The police have made a startling revelation that shortly before her death, severe pressure was exerted on the girl by her own father and the influential employers. As a result, the girl altered her final statement before dying, blaming only the driver in an attempt to save the primary suspect (the employer’s son). Despite the alteration, the initial statement will remain the primary evidence as the investigation proceeds. The police have assured that the influential suspects will be brought to justice. The body has undergone a post-mortem examination. The next phase of the investigation will be determined in light of the autopsy report to ensure that justice is served on the basis of scientific evidence.
