In an interview with Maliha Rehman, Farhan Saeed has opened up about his choice to play Anas in Bas Tera Saath Hou. He has defended his decision to play a college student, stating that Anas’ character has an emotional need he can fulfill. He said he was probably selected to play the character because the director knew only he could do justice to Anas.

Responding to the backlash he has received for Bas Tera Saath Hou, Farhan said the audience does not wait for the story to unfold. He added that the audience wants answers from the first episode. He further added that Anas’ grown-up look and his age will be justified in the future episodes. He also acknowledged that he did not realize that he could not picture himself as a college student; it was only after the critique that he realized. Farhan also added that he appreciates the criticism and hopes that, eventually, the audience will connect with the character so deeply that they forget the downside. He said his focus is not on the criticism but on helping people connect with his character.

Farhan Saeed is currently promoting his upcoming film, Love Di Saun, and can be seen on television screens with Bas Tera Saath Hou. He is a renowned actor, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the band Jal. After that, he established himself in the entertainment industry with musical hits like Pi Jaun, Roiyaan, and Thori Deir. His acting career took off with the drama serial Udaari, and he later appeared in the film Tich Button.
