In a horrifying series of events, a man shot his wife at a local National Database and Registration Authority(NADRA) office in Gujrat, resulting in her death. Later, he also shot himself and committed suicide, ARY News reported. The two have been identified as Bilal and Amber, who had been employees at the same facility.
The incident took place during operating hours, when a heated argument broke out between the couple over a domestic matter, escalating to the shooting. The police were immediately called to the crime scene, where they cordoned off the area and initiated a swift investigation. While the investigation is underway, the police have confirmed that the incident was triggered by a domestic quarrel. The police have also stated that a legal proceeding will follow once the investigation is concluded.
The police are currently working towards restoring normalcy in the national office, where the incident has created fear and panic among the staff members and citizens present during the incident.
