Zeba (Sanam Saeed) has found her perfect match, Jamal (Hassaan Khan), in the Kafeel finale; the woman’s ordeal is finally over, and a bright future awaits her. However, the star of the show remains Subok (Aashir Wajahat), who has proven to be one of the best male characters in television history. Subok strikes a perfect balance, remaining soft at heart while becoming a pillar of support for the women in his life.
As his mother chooses her happiness and moves with Jamal, Subok and his sisters stay back to continue life as it was. Subo can be seen filling in for Zeba as she settles into her new life, new house. Though he misses his mother, he holds the fort so his sisters do not feel the void. The Kafeel viewers were given a glimpse of a happy ending for Subok as well, as the family visits Daneen(Areeqa Haq) to ask for her hand in marriage. The cute exchange between the two has left fans in awe, as justice has been served to the most ‘green flag’ male character on television so far.

As Kafeel makes an exit, netizens hope that men like Subok are written about more often and are portrayed in a similar light. Stating that the writer has carefully curated Subok’s character, a user posted on X and said:
Is Subuk one of the most carefully written male characters on PTV. I think so. Most complaints aside, UA decided to give all her thought while crafting Subuk. We need more writers to write their male characters with much consideration #kafeel

Unable to recall any such character in the past drama serials, a netizen stated that Subok was portrayed excellently. They posted:
The absolute highlight of #Kafeel for me was Subuk and #AashirWajahat‘s excellent portrayal of him. He brought me to tears on multiple occasions & in the last 2 eps especially. I can’t recall the last time we saw such a wonderful son & brother in ptv. We need more men like Subuk pic.twitter.com/JiYKM0LTyT
