Rajab Butt, notorious for his controversies, is back in the news after solemnising his divorce from Eman Rajab (Eman Asad). He sent the first divorce notice, after which Eman broke down on her Instagram story, questioning what her fault was and her newborn’s fault in all this.
Posting the picture of the divorce notice, she stated that she kept her silence to salvage the marriage, but many allegations were made against her in a podcast. She added that she has plenty to say but would remain silent despite being served a legal notice in the holy month of Ramadan.
The broken marriage had been a topic of discussion for a while, when earlier Eman’s brother Aon Sheikh alleged that Rajab had cheated on Eman when she was expecting a child with him. He added that Rajab does not support his estranged family financially.
In response to the allegations, Rajab stated that he is done with his marriage to Eman in a podcast with Rehan Tariq on 24 Plus. He said that he will not continue to live with a hypocrite; however, he will continue to support and meet his son, Kivan Sultan Butt. He further added that his wife and her family have made demeaning comments towards his family, which have become a reason for their divorce.
