
Tragic news has come from the Hassan Park area of Old Narang Road in Muridke, where a man has allegedly killed his stepsister over a property dispute. The victim died by strangulation and was four months pregnant at the time of the incident. The victim’s husband, Qasim, has come forward as the complainant and nominated his wife’s stepbrother as a primary suspect.
The complainant has pleaded that a double homicide was committed against the accused, as his wife was four months pregnant at the time of the murder. The victim’s family has also alleged that the victim’s gold earrings and Rs. 2.5lacs has also been stolen by the suspects. The complainant was backed by the victim’s mother, who stated that the victim’s four-month-old nephew was present at the scene of the crime.
A first information report(FIR) has been registered against two named and two unidentified suspects, and the police are on the hunt for them. While raids are being conducted by the police, the grieving family held a protest outside the hospital demanding swift justice. The police have ensured swift justice, and an investigation is underway.
