The police have arrested a man responsible for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old domestic worker in a private hotel in Lahore, Express News reported. He further allegedly circulated obscene videos of her online to blackmail the victim. The arrest was made using modern technology, and the culprit was tracked down in FC Kachi Abadi, Gulberg, Lahore.
The victim was a friend of the accused, who lured the minor girl to a private hotel by inviting her for a meal. The victim was working as a domestic helper alongwith her parents in a private housing society.
While talking to the media, Superintendent of Police(SP) Model Town, Sherbano Naqvi, stated that upon investigation, it was determined that the suspect assaulted the girl in the hotel room where the inappropriate videos were made, which were later made viral to blackmail. She further added that women’s protection is the police’s priority. She appreciated the efforts by the Guberg police in making the arrest.
