The veteran actress stated that Saima was a close friend of hers, and she was proud of the way she raised her children which was a great blessing.
Reflecting on the ‘Ishq Hai’ actor’s controversial statement, Sania pointed out that men also lose their money which doesn’t mean their earnings don’t have any value. The ‘Sang E Maar’ actress stated that when men earn, there is no peace in their homes, whereas when women are earning a living, they are able to raise their children in a proper manner, while also run their households successfully. Sania stated that there were several instances where men would rob their wives earnings and inflict abuse over them which did not mean their earning held any value.
The ‘Ae Dil’ actress went on to reflect that our society does not teach women how to manage their financial expense, because from the beginning it was always considered a man’s responsibility to handle the finances.
The actress stressed that financial independence for a woman was a blessing because it empowered them to make decision for their own and their children’s well-being. “If there is ever an occasion if I fall sick, I can get a check up any time I want and I don’t need to reach out for help to anyone. I can live my life according to my own choices. If your money is empowering you, there is no other blessing better than this.”
