The Biryani was spiked with all the spicy flavours last night after Nisa’s shocking action left netizens completely speechless. As we were previously aware, the tragic twist in this gorgeous love story came when audiences found out that Meeran and Gul had been married for over four years, leading to Nisa running from his home in tears and cutting off contact.
In last night’s episode, things took a darker turn when Nisa, to the shock of both her mother and uncle, decides to get engaged to Rashid. She even invites over Meeran to the ceremony as a way of proving to him that she was capable of moving on from him.
Netizens were moved by Khushhal’s powerful acting, as Meeran begs Nisa to not destroy her life by going ahead with this marriage, and even promises to leave the university just to keep her sanity.

We can completely agree with Nisa for taking such a drastic step after being blindsided over something that Meeran should have told her right away in the beginning. In fact, she makes it outrightly clear that no woman should be treated like a secondary option, in her outburst to Meeran in university.

While some might applaud Nisa for choosing to walk away from a what oculd have been a destructive relationship, others felt sympathy for Meeran. Many users had empathized with his pain in seeing Nisa run off to marry someone she didn’t like at all, and how he even restorted to begging her not to destroy her life.
