‘Dil Wali Gali Mein’ is only four episodes in and already has caused a storm on social media with its hilarious journey about a married couple trying to establish their ground in a chaotic family.

Mujji and Deeju (played by Hamza Sohail and Sajal Aly) fall in love despite coming from families who have deep-seated feuds with one another, and dated throughout university. After being caught trying to get married in secret, the two are hastily married by their families, and thus begins the next stage of their incredibly disordered married life.

Sajal and Hamza had already won our hearts with their incredible performance in the social drama ‘Zard Patton Ka Band’ and already in these first few episodes, their chemistry is off the charts.

Fans have been sharing their favourite scenes from ‘Dil Wali Gali Mein’ which include how Mujji loves Deeju to the point that he is willing to go against his strict mother to give his wife the respect and honour she deserves.

The internet seems to have discovered its new favourite trope in the show: loser, obsessed husband and pretty wife who did absolutely nothing but smile.

People have also shared how much they love the way Mujji is a sensible and observant man who is aware of the emotional and mental burden a newly married bride faces when she moves in to a new home. Many fans have lauded this clip where Mujji and a friend discuss how women have to abandon their home, parents and their old life to move in with her husband and his parents.

We have to say kudos to the writer for pointing out such a crucial thing that so few Pakistani dramas have discussed or even pointed out.

Seriously just call this drama pretty wife and the husband who just sits and fawns over her.
