Lollywood actress and model Meera was banned from entering in the UK for ten years, and her mother has revealed the reason why.
In an interview with Geo, her mother Shafqat Zahra Bukhari had revealed the actress had misunderstood a few questions during immigration at the UK which is why she was sent back to Pakistan.
Speaking to the news platform, Meera’s mother revealed she had received the visa, but when the immigration office had asked her a question, she had misunderstood it due to her poor English speaking skills and had given the wrong answer to it.
One of the questions the immigration facilities had asked Meera was about the name of her mother, sister or any family relative living in the UK. Meera had not given the full name of her mother to British authorities.
The mother went on to say that Meera’s ban has been lifted, and the actress continues to travel all over the world because of her films and was now set to arrive in London because of a shoot. She also said that after this incident, Meera had improved her English speaking skills and can now speak really well.
The mother also spoke about the film Meera was set to shoot in London, revealing that the shoot was halted because the actress had to shoot certain scenes in the UK with Shaan. She was also being approached by businessmen for other projects, which the actress would attend once she received her UK visa.
