Who is Noor Xarmina?

From her interviews with various outlets, here are the few things we found out about Noor.

  1. She was extremely nervous about joining the Miss Universe competition because of witnessing the backlash Erica Robin went through last year. But the former Miss Universe contestant reached out and mentored her a lot to give Noor the confidence she needed to get to this point.

2. She has travelled the world.

Noor Xarmina spent seven years in Pakistan during which time she completed her O and A’levels from Islamabad. She then went on to complete her bachelors from the US and travelled around the world. Despite having lived abroad, Noor revealed that her parents were extremely traditional and made sure she never forgot her Pakistani roots at all.

“But I was incredibly lucky to come from a family where my parents were extremely traditional and taught me about Pakistani culture,” confessed Noor. “It’s something I am brushing up on on but we have a very desi mahol and I can be a very desi girl”
