Former members of the Cricket team are known for their propensity to critique the current elevens whenever they face a defeat on the grand global stage of cricket. In the aftermath of the Pakistani team’s eviction from the ICC World Cup 2023, the squad has found itself under an intense barrage of criticism emanating from various quarters, including the media, news outlets, and former cricketers.

In a recent interaction with the media, one such former cricketer, Abdul Razzaq, took the opportunity to delve into a discourse that extended beyond the cricketing domain. In a somewhat perplexing move, he needlessly invoked the name of Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai while discussing the team’s performance. Employing an analogy to highlight the disparity between the cricketers’ intentions and the management’s objectives, Razzaq remarked, “If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai a good kid would be born, it would never happen.”

Rather than getting called out for his unconventional choice of analogy, Razzaq found himself basking in a surprising round of applause from his fellow cricketers seated beside him, including notable figures such as Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul.

This is not the first time Abdul Razzaq has been called out for his misogynistic views, he has openly talked about his extramarital affairs without any remorse on national television as well.
