The Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul Haq Kakar talked about his recent visit to LUMS university, which recently garnered a lot of online attention as students came forward with many blunt and tough questions to the government official. “LUMS ke bache sharartein karte hain”, Kakar said laughing as he seemed to have taken the students’ concern regarding their county in an easy going and positive spirit.
When asked about when voting for a new government would be held in the country, making a reference to the remarks of LUMS students, Kakar said “Lums ke humare bachay hain. Koi nahin, vo sharartein karte hain. Koi nahin, hum bhi yeh kartey rahey hain. Jo merey jawabat hain vo bhi available hain”.
Previously, many videos made the rounds on social media as students asked question about the Jaranwala incident, upcoming elections and why Kakar had arrived 50 minutes late to the university. However, PM Kakar patiently responded to all the queries of the young students.
