Everybody in Pakistan has been affected by the floods, some physically, some emotionally and some mentally. While 1/3rd are directly affected by it and their experiences cannot be compared to the rest; every patriotic Pakistani has been distraught by the happenings in the country.
As privileged Pakistanis, we wonder why is this our life and why is theirs like that. We’ve long talked about bridging the gap but hardly see it come into action.
Rescue work by various organizations including Al Khidmat, Edhi Foundation and others is remarkable. Videos of rescuers willing to risk their lives to save animals really overwhelms and breaks our hearts at the same time.
Another such person that has decided to get on his feet and help the affected victims on field is Turkish actor Celal Al of Dirilis: Ertugrul who is in Karachi to help flood affectees.
This is the kind of compassion and human spirit that keeps us going. In a video uploaded on his Instagram he mentioned how he and the team at Red Crescent intend to help the affected victims.
Many netizens have been celebrating his spirit and appreciating his efforts, scroll down to see!
