Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial appreciated Bilawal Bhutto for his speaking style and manners at the Supreme Court hearing held on 7th April.
Expressing his admiration for the young PPP politician, CJ said Bilawal was the only one who had a smile on his face.
The four day court proceedings were held as a response to the ongoing political crisis that followed when PM Imran Khan lost his parliamentary majority with a no-confidence vote tabled by the opposition. Following this, the Opposition leaders expressed pleasure and welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision to declare the government’s actions from April 3 to date null and void.
Following the court hearings Bilawal Bhutto wrote in a tweet: “Democracy is the best revenge! Jiya Bhutto! Jiya Awam! Pakistan Zindabad,”, as the government’s narrative faced a severe setback following the court’s ruling.
