Pakistani celebrities took to social media to celebrate Pakistan’s historic win against India for the T20 World Cup 2021. In a historic turn of events, Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets in the Super 12 match held in Dubai, registering its first-ever win against the neighboring country.
In order to celebrate Pakistan’s victory in the blockbuster match, different celebrities applauded the Pakistan cricket team’s outstanding performance in their own special way.
Actor Imran Ali Abbas posted a picture of both the Pakistani and Indian team captains- Babar Azam and Virat Kohli striking an affectionate pose. Babar Azam hit an unbeaten 68 with a thrilling performance in the match.
Leading actress Mahirah Khan posted an after-match picture of the Pakistani cricket team cricket all smiling for a perfect selfie, writing “So so so so proud!!! Boyss played like champs. This is historic. Onwards and upwards. InshAllah.”
TV anchor and presenter Waseem Badami remembering the King of Comedy, posted an old picture of late Umar Sharif showing the victory sign while watching the Pakistani team playing a cricket match.
