After the success of “Ye Dil Mera“, “Yakeen Ka Safar” and “Aangan“, Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir are coming back together as a couple once more for the new web series “Dhoop ki deewar“. Written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hassan, the series shall follow a couple whose lives are completely changed after the war and will be set in the backdrop of the Kashmir and Pulwama attacks. Ahad is reportedly playing a boy from India while Sajal shall be a girl from Pakistan.
The first teaser for “Dhoop ki Dewar” had dropped yesterday on the official instagram pages of Umera Ahmed and Haseeb Hassan, which coincidently was also the first anniversary of Sajal and Ahad’s marriage. In the caption, Haseeb Hassan had described the clip to be one of his favorite moments from the series, and also sent a congratulations to the couple and reminded fans to stay tuned for the big news.

Previously, other people closely working with the “Dhoop ki deewar” have teased the fans with pictures of the cast members working together and have promised that this will be something they will truly enjoy. In February, the producer of the series Shailiha Kejriwal dropped some pictures of the cast working together and promised fans that they will only have to wait for a little while

Some of the cast members who are confirmed to be working on “Dhoop ki deewar” include Samiya Mumtaz, Samina Ahmed, Savera Nadeem, Manzar Shebai, Adnan Jaffer, Zara Tareen, Paras Masroor, Hammad Siddique, Ainy Zaidi and Salma Hasa.
