Karachi has experienced some unprecedented rainfall this season which has caused severe distress among the people. While many roads are simply posing to be canals, there are many images and videos showing cars drowning in the water collected on the streets. While some are appreciating the government for solving the issue quickly, some are objecting that this shouldn’t be an issue in the first place, some are tweeting about the aesthetics on the beach while some are terrified because of the situation at hand. The situation is out of hands and people are worried as to the possibility of this being the situation after every spell. Apart from the problems that come with drowned streets, it’s also important to remember how electricity shortages and internet lock down are also a result of these showers. Something needs to be done about this so that the people of Karachi can enjoy a season meant to be enjoyed. What are your thoughts on the issue, let us know in the comments section.
