Earlier it was decided that the matches would happen without spectators in the stadium. The semi-finals were scheduled to happen today with Lahore Qalandars going against Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi against Multan Sultans. However, it appears that with the increasing number of COVID-19 patients coming to the surface the organizers have decided to posptpone the event.
Shahid Afridi took to twitter to express his despair over the ending of HBL PSL-V. He also hinted at giving the trophy to his team ‘Multan Sultans’ who were at the top of the charts.
Sad to see the PSL end, but health and safety of all concerned is the key, esp those who are travelling back to their homes.Perhaps the decision could have been taken earlier, with regards to the trophy…well the table-topper should be handed the trophy? 😊 @MultanSultans
