200 Pakistanis were deported from different countries like USA, China, Turkey in the first week of January.

Over 200 Pakistanis have been deported from various countries in the month of January over a range of issues like visa violation, legal infraction and human trafficking.

According to Geo, 200 Pakistanis were sent back from countries like the USA, China, Turkey, Zimbabwe and Senegal. Only 12 people were arrested upon their immediate arrival at the airport in Karachi.

From Saudi Arabia, over 47 people have been deported for various issues such as visa problems, black listing, or working without a sponsor.

More than 17 people were deported for begging, while two were for lost passports, three for overstaying their visa and the other three were deported for blacklisting

In the United States, two Pakistanis were deported for travelling on emergency documents. While in Zimbabwe, three people were stopped by immigration and sent back to Pakistan.

While from other countries like Cyprus, Pretoria, Qatar and China, six Pakistanis were deported.

According to Hum News, a few Pakistanis were among the 7000 undocumented migrants who were deported from the United States after a crackdown on illegal immigration began. Most were arrested for illegally crossing the border.

Express News reported on 2 February that Saudi Arabia had deported ten Pakistanis for begging, who had travelled under the guise of Umrah. In a statement, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) confirmed this news and said that in a major operation, those Pakistanis were arrested by authorities.

The deported individuals were from various parts of Pakistan including Kashmore, Lahore, Peshawar, Mohmand and Larkana. Investigations had revealed these people were living in Saudi Arabia for several months where they were begging.
